We work in partnership with Transport for London to promote healthier ways to travel through our ‘School Travel Plan’ and we have now been awarded gold for all our activities.

 

Some of the activities that assisted us in gaining the award were:

• Completing the annual ‘Hands Up’ survey in order to see the various ways pupils come to school

• Running bike sessions for pupils and purchasing more bikes

• 'Bikers' and 'Walkers' breakfasts to promote healthy ways of getting to school.

• Working with the Junior School in championing clean air around the school

• Promoting healthier routes to walk to school.
